This post is a little late, but it’s here to announce the release of my newest book, Raelflyn the Red: A Tale from Asunder. It’s a novella that I published earlier this year near the end of May, and I’m pretty fond of it. I’m gonna go ahead and give you the blurb here so you have an idea what it’s about:

The battle of the Light and the Dark has reached every corner of Asunder except the Wild Wood, where the dryads, nymphs, and centaurs live in seemingly utter ignorance of either. Until the day when a bitter young centaur, known as Raelflyn the Red, out on one of his usual Ogre hunts, encounters both a Faerie and a Troll. He is confronted for the first time with the knowledge of the Light and the Dark and must choose which side he will fight on. Once he does, he can never return to the Wild life he knew before.
That’s about the gist of it. Well, everything I’m going to tell you on the outside of the book anyway. I really enjoyed this one, partly because it was written during a trying time in my life and I feel like it’s something good that came out of it, but also because it offers a lovely glimpse into one of my favorite fantasy worlds that I’ve come up with: Asunder. Naturally, Asunder has been heavily influenced by both Tolkien and C.S. Lewis (what fantasy story written in the last decade hasn’t?), but I like to think it is not too horribly redundant among fantasy worlds. You may disagree, and I wouldn’t hold that against you. However, if you’re fond of Tolkien and Lewis, and are not opposed to trying out a short afternoon read with a similar flair, I do hope you’ll consider it. You can purchase it on Amazon, in paperback or on Kindle. And feel free to reach out to me if you’ve read it, I’d love to know what you think!
